Dawn and her team at St. Dennis had a brilliant idea about sitting in a bath of baked beans on the forecourt of the store and raising money for Pink Day!!! So they did it, but chose the coldest day of the year so far with inches of snow on the ground!!!

The atmosphere however was really warm, with customers delighted that Dawn and her team were willing to go through an hour sat in a very cold bath of baked beans in order to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause.

Very few customers passed by the collecting tins without putting cash in.

In addition to being sponsored for the event, the store held a raffle, name the bear and had a barbeque going as well.

To date they have raised in excess of £800 - Incredible!!! Well done to all who took part, a fantastic effort.
